2018-2019 SERVICE PROJECTS

Back to School Bash

  • An exciting annual event where area children receive a backpack with school supplies and more in preparation for a new school year.

Crown Club

  • The object of this club shall be to foster interest among its members in the social, economical, educational, civic, and cultural conditions about them; to develop leadership and character; to prepare for good citizenship; and to demonstrate the act of caring for others.

Hope Cottages

  • JA Harrison will be teaming up with Hope Cottages for unique opportunities to serve their residents.

Giving Grace

  • This project provides teen mothers a Christmas dinner and gifts for them and their children. This project was named in memory of a young girl who passed away at 21 months of age due to child abuse. Numerous members of the community come together for this project, and work with JA to impact the lives of the less fortunate.

Silver Ring Thing

  • Hosted by JA Harrison, Silver Ring Thing is a radical response to culture’s view of love and relationships.  This event inspires teens to defy the meet-up, hook-up, break-up culture of today and discover true life found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. This goes way beyond ‘purity’ to embrace our identity and pursue a lifestyle that brings honor and glory to God. Since 1995, SRT has hosted more than 1,200 events, reaching nearly 700,000 people. They are excited to partner and impact the students and families in our community with the truth of God’s plan.
